Test Map of Great Western Canada Golf Tour
A Dream Adventure My retirement was July 30, 2008. I planned the tour for months. Initially I could think of 15 courses and I allowed for maybe 3 weeks travel. As my day got closer, I worried that 15 courses in 21 days might be too much for me. Better figure on taking a cart so I wouldn't wear myself out in the summer heat. My philosophy was to keep things informal. The last thing I wanted to do on my retirement was to follow a rigid schedule. Those days were supposed to be over. Once I got rolling, I got into a groove. The Tour was way too much fun! Fifteen courses turned into 31; 21 days turned into 52. It was a thrill of a lifetime! Trip Summary: - Start: August 18, 2008
