Golf Game Development
What Do You Mean, Golf Game Development? What distinguishes golf game development from practicing in general? Well, it means game-like practice. What are the most effective techniques to reduce your score? To become a better golfer, you've got equip yourself with skill suited to the endless range of situations in round of golf. No two rounds of golf are ever the same. You can play your home course forever and never hit the same shot twice. Golf presents golfers with an endless array of variables every time out. That's the beauty of the game. Golf Game Development CostsWhat is the cost of a good practice setup? What's included: a range pass, short game pass, video analysis, swing analysis, swing video, swing lessons? Does this differ for juniors, adults and seniors? Costs of a practice program depend on the circumstances, but one scenario can be set up for an average golfer -- let's call him Chuck. Chuck plays less 10-15 rounds a year but wants to play more and is trying to get better. I like him already. He knows he needs to keep practicing throughout the golf season and wants to take lessons from the start so that he can have something to work on during the year. His play is laid out so that he can develop all parts of his game. For adults and seniors like Chuck, a practice scenario might consist of the following: Summer 1. Range membership $250.00 (hitting from mats or grass area) 2. Short Game membership $275.00 (putting, chipping, pitching, bunker) 3. Golf Lessons Golf Pro $100.00 (2 half hour lessons per year) 4. One video analysis $ 75.00 Total $700.00 This would include all the balls he can hit and access to swing aids, The video analysis would give him a solid visual feel for his golf swing. The two half hour lessons would be 'follow-up sessions during the season to monitor and refine his swing development while he was actively playing. The $700.00 dollars looks expensive, but the membership might work out cheaper than paying by the bucket (at the range) or by the hour (at the short game area). Short game practice facilities are harder to find and the best ones are pricey but well worth it. As with anything, the more time you put in, the more you'll get back. If you put 3 hours in practicing for every hour you play, overall season costs will probably be lower with memberships than paying by the bucket. Cost of a large bucket (80 golf balls) is usually $8.50 on average. I know I pay for my range membership in two months. Golf Club Membership Practice ScenarioIf you belong to a club with decent practice facilities (i.e. both range and short game practice areas), your practice costs could be cheaper. The practice costs will be included in your club membership.
